AchieversUK aims to raise the ambition and confidence of young people in state schools by highlighting the success of former pupils.

Independent schools already make great use of their former pupils as a vital source of support.  Now AchieversUK aims to make it easy for state schools to do the same.

The initiative draws attention to the achievements not only of high flyers, but also of individuals who may not be household names but who enjoy their work and contribute to the community in a host of different ways.

"If they can
achieve a
lot, then
so can I."

 Achiever visits
inspire youngsters

A major element of the programme involves taking Achievers back to their old state school to participate in Question & Answer sessions with pupils.

The Achievers have included artists, footballers, builders, writers, lawyers comedians, doctors and even the Prime Minister!

We are very grateful to all the Achievers for finding the time and look forward to arranging many more school visits in the future.
