AchieversUK.com
aims to
raise the aspirations of young people in state schools by highlighting the
success of former pupils.
We are part of The Schools Project,
a teacher-led partnership which works closely with schools, local
education authorities and
organisations from the private sector.
As experienced teachers, we create
practical solutions which save class teachers time rather than generate extra
work.
Having failed to secure government funding
for the AchieversUK initiative, we have set it up on a commercial
self-sustaining basis. Membership fees and sponsorship allows us to add
more school sections and also organise regular Achiever visits to
schools.
Our
eventual aim is to include every state school in the UK.
