Christine

Bentley

Education

Families in Angus value learning and it is therefore no surprise that many former pupils of Montrose Academy have achieved a lot in the world of education. Christine is a good example. Following a highly successful teaching career she is now the Head Teacher of one of Britain's oldest schools, Kinross High.

Greig

Henslee

Sport

Greig showed a lot of promise as a young footballer at school and has gone on to enjoy a career in the professional game.  He trains hard to develop his skills and remain fit. Before joining his home town club, Montrose FC, Greig enjoyed a very successful spell with Arbroath FC which lasted for seven years.

Rob

Murray

Politics

MPs and MSPs may be better known to the general public, but councillors such as Rob, take many decisions that have a real impact on the lives of local people.  Angus Council has 29 elected councillors each of whom represent an area called an 'electoral ward'.  Rob is also the current Council Leader.

Louise

Brown

Nurse

Louise realised a childhood dream when she gained a place on a nursing course. She is now in the third year of her training and has passed all her assessments so far. Louise is looking forward to working in Accident & Emergency (A&E) as she will discover whether TV's Casualty is accurate!  She eventually hopes to become a hospital ward sister.
