comic characters but he has appeared in many

a European trophy with Aberdeen defeating Real

Combined both by writing on science for the New
Scientist and the Daily Telegraph.
She then joined the BBC as a science correspondent.

Book
award and his film "The Practicality of Magnolia"
won two Scottish BAFTAs.
A successful teacher, he lectures at Strathclyde

carved out a highly successful career in engineering
with The Weir Group. He joined the company
at a young age before studying for a degree in
Mechanical Engineering. Now travels all over
the world with his job. |

Barrhead High pupil asked him to join The
Scottish Youth Theatre in Glasgow. Has
starred in many film and television programmes.

High who remarkably, both made the national final of television's popular
Stars in Their Eyes Kids. Great performances helped the two 16 year-olds win well over 100,000 votes between them

Alan was a successful business man as well as one of
Scotland's top rally drivers! He set up a landscaping
business which, through hard work and good
timing, he built into Scotland's largest
turf contractor employing 50 local people. The
firm has helped to re-turf
the playing surface at
Ibrox and Hampden. |

Well-known performer and composer. Dougie Plays bagpipes,
whistles, flute and saxophone. He is also a former
member of the highly popular Battlefield
Band. Now Director of the National Centre
For Excellence In Traditional Music at Plockton High
School.
