Philip
McHugh

Star Pupil

While a pupil at Hillpark, Philip's singing talent won him many medals at the Royal National Mod. He put much of his success down to his uncle, former Simple Minds member Mick MacNeil: "He always encouraged me to sing and keep practising."

Fraser
Wishart

Sport

Fraser is well known in football circles. As a player and coach his clubs included Motherwell, St Mirren, Rangers and Hearts.  He also spent many years helping other players in his role as President of the Scottish Professional Footballers' Association.

Amie
W.

Star Pupil

Young people can get a bad press but in 2002 Amie made national headlines for the very best of reasons when she was one of the very few S5 pupils in Scotland to achieve five 'A's in her Highers, all at Band One!  In other words, she couldn't do any better.  Amie said she owed a lot to the the staff at Hillpark for the support they had given her.

Iain
Renwick

Business

Ian has a very successful track record in the world of business. As Chief Executive of Liberty, he has turned around a famous High Street chain which had been facing serious problems. Ian studied law at Glasgow University before opting for business rather than the courts. He is also a director of the AIDS charity Crusaid.

Lucie
H.

Star Pupil

When she was a pupil at Hillpark, Lucie amazed teachers and fellow pupils with her special skills. She was born with Asperger's Syndrome which has given her talents such as a photographic memory. At the age of 12, Lucie also had no need to worry about getting lost on a trip to London because she had memorised the entire Tube system!
