Bill
Forsyth
Film |
|
Bill
Forsyth is one of the great names in British cinema.
He was the son of a plumber who drifted into the
film industry almost by accident and ended up
winning many awards for his writing and direction.
Bill's gentle humour created films such as
Gregory's Girl, That Sinking Feeling and
the brilliant Local Hero. He worked with
Glasgow Youth Theatre and a number of its young
actors built successful careers on the start Bill
gave them. |
