at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and
has gone on to star in a number of hit TV shows. She
has also appeared in films and loves acting on

Glasgow University and has enjoyed a brilliant
career as a poet, academic and writer. For ten years

One of
Scotland's most successful golfers. Sam turned
professional at 16 and went on to win many titles on
the European tour. He has a great Ryder Cup history
and captained Europe to victory over the USA in

Swimming is one of many sports in which Academy
pupils show great talent. This was certainly the
case at the 2007 Scottish Schools Swimming
Championships when two senior pupils, Kirsty and
Andrew, both became national champions! |

studied Computing Science at Stirling University
before embarking on a business career in which has
taken him all over the world. He works hard but as a
talented golfer, still finds time to play his

Helen
is a talented opera singer who studied at the Royal
Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD). Her
repertoire includes some of the great soprano roles
and she has performed in opera houses all over the

Music
is a key subject at Largs Academy and many pupils
show great talent. One of the school's senior pupils
is a member of the Scottish National Youth Choir and
recently performed in front of Bill Clinton, Bill
Gates and Gordon Brown. |

One of only 25 students across Scotland selected for
the Scottish Space School 2006. This involved
a visit to NASA headquarters in the USA where
Jennifer saw the Space
Shuttle and worked with NASA astronauts and scientists.

over the years. In 2006, one of Kelburn Primary 7
pupils not only won became Scottish Champion at the
Schools Championships but also broke the Scottish
