Jackie
Joyce
Music |
|
Jackie
is a talented singer-songwriter who has impressed
many people with thoughtful and imaginative albums.
Her talent was clear when she was a pupil at Perth
Grammar as Jackie excelled at music and often took
the lead in school musicals. However, she did not
burst on to the music scene as an overnight success.
Many years of hard work followed but at the age of
31 she was short-listed for the very important
Mercury Award. |

Girls' Football Squad |
|
Perth
Grammar has produced many talented sports
stars over the years. For example, the girls
football team is a former winner of a 7-a-side competition which
included teams from all over Scotland. The event was held at Hampden
Stadium, the home of Scottish football. The team
showed not only their skills but also their
determination by scoring the winner in the last
minute of the final! |

|
Many
former pupils have followed a career in the law.
Alan is a good example. He studied law at Edinburgh
University before joining a law firm to complete his
training. He has since gained experience of many
aspects of the Scottish legal system and now puts this knowledge to good use as a senior
partner in the well-known Perthshire law firm,
McCash & Hunter.
