Music |

Music
is an important subject at Pitlochry High and the
school was therefore proud when a number of pupils
were amongst the winners at the local Perform in
Perth music festival. With more than 3,400
entrants in total during the festival it was
pleasing that youngsters won awards in a wide range
of instruments such as flute, clarinet and trumpet.
The primary school string group also performed very
well!

major issue nowadays. Pitlochry Primary was
therefore very proud when on of its Primary 7 pupils
won a prize in a major competition run by Tayside
Police to tackle the growing problem of wildlife
crime. Over a thousand youngsters across the
region took part in the project so winning one of
the top prizes was no mean feat.
